1737 [dated 1699] Heinrich Scherer (Jesuit/mathematician/geographer/ engraver/cartographer): “Poloniae Magn..,” Munich, 40.5 x 27.5 cm., from “Atlas Marianus : sive præcipuæ totius orbis habitati..,” Volume three of seven of the Second, 1737, Edition of his “Atlas Novus..,” which contained 180 maps, and was first published in 1702. Scherer was notable for his inclusion of Catholic imagery.
