LIVONIA, 1635–1637

Gerard Mercator –Hondius Family: “LIVONIA” on the map, “LIVONIA or LIEFLAND,” on the page: three from the 1635 first edition of the Mercator- Hondius atlas  “Historia Mundi,”  and one from the 1637 second edition.  The map is 15 x 20 cm and the translation to English was from the 1607 Mercator-Hondius “Atlas Minor.”
